This class is designed to introduce students to the wonders of clay, through hand building techniques and wheel work.  This class includes some basic drawing and documenting of techniques and processes that will be used in the various projects.  Vocabulary words and terminology used in ceramics will be presented and students will use these terms in their own evaluations. A written report, presentation, final, exam and quizzes will also contribute to the class requirements.
